Aren't they mating?? :c) One of my bff's is a zoo keeper and she says they do this (at her zoo) at least a couple times a day . . . and they are NOT quiet about it, either ;c)

Why, yes! They are!

And yes! They are VERY loud! All the grownups were of course giggling and all the kids were asking why he was climbing on her, and how she must not like it because she is groaning so loudly!

ok...so I just enlarged the photo to show my husband how she-turtle was twisting her head around...and well, she's not! But really, don't you think the mark on top of here head looks like an open mouth?! lol!!

Jenny,
Ha! I see what you're saying. The funny thing to me is the girly there next to them. Down the path was ANOTHER pair of turtles doin' it and there was another turtle there with her paw on top of the girl turtle's paw, like holding her hand through it! Maybe they are giving comfort... or... waiting in line?

And just how did you explain this to Noah????? :-)

Nothing like getting an education when taking a field trip to the zoo!

Happy WW.

Hey, it's not like they have a bedroom door or anything. I bet even their enclosure has a glass window on it.

Great timing on the picture though, chuckle, chuckle, chuckle.
